Pozza di Volpaia is a villa with a private swimming pool located in the fortified medieval hamlet of Volpaia, in the Chianti Classico area, in a secluded position ensuring complete privacy. The estate produces the renowned Chianti Classico and in year 2018 its 2015 Chianti Classico has been ranked by a top 100 Wine Spectator third best wine of the world. Even if in a secluded positionPozza di Volpaia is at just a 300 meter walk to the centre of the hamlet, where guests can enjoy two restaurants, one of which managed by the Castello di Volpaia farm, where it is possible to taste the local cuisine. The guests can enjoy also hafl-day cooking classes, buy bread at the local bakery or taste the outstanding wine, having also the chance to arrange a complementary wine tour. The house has a pretty garden with trees, vines and pots of geraniums. The private swimming pool is in a beautiful position with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. There is a covered dining area just outside the house and another shady pergola for sitting and relaxing outdoors. The interiors have been very tastefully restored, using traditional materials, combined with modern comforts, including satellite TV, as well as well-equipped kitchen. Four of the six bedrooms of the house have their own en-suite bathroom. Cleaning service is included 4 hours a day 5 days a week. 9m x 5m. Fenced Pool.

We traveled to Volpaia and stayed at Pozza in May of this year. It was our second time to stay at this lovely villa. The baths and bedrooms have been renovated since our first stay in 2018.
