For little ones, toys are conveniently stored in the grey ottoman by the door.
The one-way windows allow for privacy: you can enjoy the view without anyone being able to see inside during the day.

The apartment is peacefully located by a parking area. At the front, you’ll find one of the oldest canals of Alkmaar, lined with beautiful canal houses and, in the summer, a docking area for yachts. At the back is the historic Victoriepark, great for children and offering excellent breakfast spots. A short walk to Waagplein is direct, or you can explore charming little streets. By bike, you’re just 10 minutes from the historic polder landscape, and Bergen beach or Egmond is a 30-minute ride. The museum, cultural institutions, and Alkmaar's Great Church are a 15-minute walk away. The center boasts a variety of shops, restaurants, cafés, and lunchrooms. Parking is available at the Schelphoek garage, Korte Vondelstraat 4, 1811 AE Alkmaar, just a 350-meter walk away. A free exit ticket is included with your booking. For loading and unloading, you can park briefly at the lot by the apartment. The bus stop is located at Kanaalkade, only 350 meters away. Alkmaar Central Station is a 15-20 minute walk from the apartment.
